Dr. Wade Cooper is the Director of Headache and Neuropathic Pain at the University of Michigan where he is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology and Anesthesiology. Dr. Cooper graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine where he obtained his medical degree in 2000. He completed his residency in neurology at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, in 2004. He also completed a fellowship in headache medicine at the Michigan Head Pain and Neurological Institute in 2005. Dr. Cooper holds a United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) board certification in headache medicine.

 

Dr. Cooper has published numerous articles and medical textbook chapters. He serves on the Editorial Board for Headache, the official journal of the American Headache Society.
